  • Inhaling cigarette smoke introduces a ton of really dangerous chemicals into your body. Why is it most people who try to quit find it so difficult? The answer is, nicotine is one of the most addictive chemicals around.

If you have tried to stop smoking and have failed miserably, join the club! You're definitely not alone so don't feel too bad about yourself. There are other things you can try, such as e-cigarettes but I will get to that towards the end of this article.

Currently, you might feel as if quitting tobacco smoking seems like an unreachable goal, but I am here to tell you that there is more than one way to kick the habit. There are probably some methods which you have tried and have been unsuccessful with, but there are others worth trying as well. Below are some of the ways that you might have already tried.

    Halo G6 E-cigarettes

Attempting to go cold turkey. Without lowering the dosage of nicotine you get, this method requires you to cut off smoking immediately. This is, according to reports, the most difficult as well as unsuccessful way. I have tried it and barely lasted a day without smoking. Not only that, it was a really big shock to my system. This caused me to munch on snacks non-stop and even binge-smoked after caving in.

One really needs to be strong willed to try this. I know some people can do it and have stopped smoking overnight after being a smoker of over 20 years, but most people just can't. It is definitely not something I'd be willing to try again.

The second most common way is to use nicotine replacement therapy, or “NRT” for short. This method includes using any herbal medicines, nicotine gum, inhalers and patches as well. Nicotine replacement therapy is a lot easier and also more successful than going cold turkey, that's for sure. Nicotine replacement therapies might be good, but not good enough to keep most people off smoking.

The reason for this is that the addiction to smoking is not just about having nicotine in your system. The smoking addiction is a very psychological one, and it has a lot to do with behavioral habits, like the smell of tobacco and putting a cigarette in your mouth. Smokers don't get these bits of satisfaction when using nicotine replacement therapy.

Name it and I've tried it. I have used just about every known quit smoking technique and aid available. I have tried hypnosis, NLP, gum, patches, subliminal messaging, Asian herbal medicines, the list goes on. None of the books that I have read have been helpful to me either.

Things are looking up though. 6 weeks ago, I've managed to quit smoking without any withdrawal symptoms. I moved on to e-cigarettes, which do not contain the thousands of toxic chemicals such as tar and arsenic. This is due to the fact that there is no burning of tobacco, which is also responsible for releasing carbon monoxide, another deadly gas responsible for emphysema and other lung related diseases. Giving up smoking tobacco cigarettes was a piece of cake for me, and many others alike. You have got to try it to believe it.

To learn more about how I managed to quit smoking using e-cigarettes, you will have to visit my blog to read up on it. There's just too much to tell within this article!
