Consider this for a moment: if your business is built around the idea of developing a network of highly profitable websites in various niches, then the capability of being able to deploy new ideas and websites super fast is going to be quite important, to say the least. Here's the thing. It is important, and is the secret to many other marketers and their competitive edge.

Ok, when you create your perfectly configured Wordpress blog, there are a few key considerations that you will need to make as to the plugin side of things. Of massive importance here is to absolutely make sure that you are not bulking up your installation too heavily, otherwise that will only slow down its performance. A few key considerations here may be some SEO functionality, such as the ability to add custom meta tags to your content, sitemap creation, a contact form, and that is just to start with. There is no limit as to how creative you can be at this point, just remember not to over-inflate. As a general rule of thumb, I prefer to not use more than 5 - 7 plugins on any one blog at any one time.

Regarding the use of themes, here's what I tend to do, and I do this for the reason that I am indecisive when it comes to the themes that I use on any of my blogs. I simply collect all of my purchased themes, and upload them all to the blog. Why do I do this? Simple - because it saves me the pain of finding them all, and uploading them one by one to test which one I like best. If I can get a visual representation without having to activate a theme, or even upload it manually, then this will save he a huge amount of time.

Now, here comes the important part. how to clone a wordpress blog. You've heard me guide you through some considerations, but what about the important part involving how its done. Key point - you can either do it manually, or you can do it using a script. I urge you not to use a plugin that relies on Wordpress to do the job though, as these rely on an already bloated script to do the job. Standalone PHP scripts work best for this purpose. That said, you can also do this manually, but that does take time, and it can be buggy. Your best bet will always be to learn what works best for you, and perfect it.
