Recently I committed to get into a new fitness regime. I work from home and I get involved in loads of computer input, writing and other Online jobs. This is rather sedentary and if I do not watch out I can be inclined to put weight on. I would much prefer to exercise than reduce my eating so now is a great time to bring some exercise discipline into my work from home plans.
Clearly a great advantage of working from home is being in control of your own schedules. In addition to that not having to travel each day does liberate lots of extra time and I have committed to utilise all of that time to get some fitness work done.
Lots of people like to utilise the gym for this purpose. That is a good idea although it introduces an amount of driving into the daily Work from home routine. I’ve tried joining the gym but I find that getting in one hours exercise in reality writes off two hours of my diary, by the time I have commuted, changed, then post exercise showered. Also my gym has a really welcoming bar and restaurant, far too tempting!
So I prefer to complete my exercise from my house. I own a mountain bike and I am fairly happy jogging, so my new plans will contain a mixture of both. Also I am lucky to live in proximity to some really pleasant woodland pathways which make good jogging and cycling routes. I do find that getting fit assists me in doing my job and obviously my work from home status helps me to get the exercise done in the first place. I intend to do around one and a half hours exercise each and every day and the great thing is that because I am not commuting each day I will still be able to give a full seven hours to my work from home jobs.
