A Not So Lucky Weekend Evening hours

I'm presently employed as a service crew in a fast food restaurant. One busy Friday night while I'm in the course of prepping the food for a customer, I accidentally Slipped at work. As Soon As I got near the fryer I slipped, eventhough I never saw any spills on the floor; my head crashed on a steel rack.

I was in stunned moments after I slipped, my co-workers hurriedly came to help and brought me to our worker's lobby and placed an ice pack on my head. Our manager figured that it would be better to send me to the nearest medical facility to get a suitable treatment.

As soon as I got to the healthcare facility the medical physician inquired me what part of my body was in serious pain, or was I unconscious moments after my head hit the utility rack, etc. My superior came about an hour after and talked to the doctor. I was asked to spend a night in the healthcare facility by the doctor for a more well-rounded check up.

A a result of that accident, I had a sprained neck, a large hematoma around the back of my head and was in great pain. Upon the doctor's daily rounds he said that I may now go home. The final result of my CT scan showed no cranial crack, nevertheless I have to return for yet another examination and must go on using the soft collar for my neck sprain.

Shortly as I got home I received a phone call from boss, he said I can take some rest. According to him, they determined that by accident another staff spilled some oil on the floor surface, just when he went out to get something to clean it I unknowingly walked on it. I received a compensation from my management as a result of the injuries I suffered and for being absent from work due the accident. I returned to work and am feeling okay now.
